Justice for Pradip Sharma Campaign

A prominent anti illegal mining activist of Rajasthan Pradip Sharma was killed by miners. A protest is being ongoing for the demand of quick police action against the perpetrators. Khalra Center for Human Rights Defenders is actively involved in this campaign.

Public Protest in Solidarity with Indigenous people

A big public protest was organized in Delhi on 31st July 2013 to show our solidarity with indigenous people of Niyamgiri Orissa. A famous Hollywood movie ‘Avatar’ is also made on struggle of these people. Noted writer Arundhati Roy also participated in this protest. Khalra Centre for Human Rights Defender remained one of the organizers.
